Cost Management

The Financial Management Module is technically a reporting and data entry modulus, wherein all income and expense items are displayed on accrual at your farm. On this screen, you may manage the proceeds of your animal sales along with Ration expenses and expenses arising due to operating overheads. In the meanwhile, you may gain access to cots per animal of such income and expenses in a date range of your choice.

You can manage ration costs and all other operating expenses, as well as income accounts relying on weight gain of animals, on a single screen.

You may quickly and directly check the levels of income attained by your farm from Sales of Animals versus their costs of acquisition and managing overheads, as well as Ration costs. You may manage all these cost items for an entire herd, or a selected group of animals, at your desire.

Financial Report

Shopping Prices

You may enter the initial purchase costs and your carcass or weight based sales.

Ration Cost

Depending on the recipe you choose, the feed quantities consumed are automatically costed at their last purchase prices.

Weight/Yield Management

You may then measure the weights of certain or whole of the animals in the group and leave calculation of the group’s weight gaining performance and expectable income to the system.

What Facilities does the MilkingCloud Cost Module Provide?

MilkingCloud Weight tracker is used to calculate the expected increase in weight of a group of animals and thus makes it possible for you to easily perform cost-effectiveness analyses of the applied Rationbased on the yield obtained.

Financial Report

If you wish, you can calculate your operating expenses for a particular group. For example, in an operation of three animal groups consisting of 100, 150 and 250 individuals, respectively, you may have overhead expenses auto distributed among groups in proportion of number of animals contained by each.

By arranging such parameters as animal deals, carcass and weight prices, you may automatically view the weight gain according to the prescription applied. Ration costs will be determined according to the final buy rates and the applied prescription computed according to the animal count, after which stock drops are automatically handled.
